I am Afsaneh Zafarani; a Registered Social Worker affiliated with the College of Social Workers in Ontario and the Social Workers Association. My professional journey revolves around
providing support and therapeutic services to diverse communities encompassing children, adolescents, adults, and families.
My practice is inclusive, catering to individuals from various backgrounds grappling with mental health challenges across different socioeconomic spectrums.
Fluent in both English and Farsi, I connect with a broad range of individuals, including those with refugee status and 2SLGBTQIA+. My therapeutic approach incorporates versatile
modalities such as CBT, DBT, SFT, and EFT.

Central to my practice is a culturally sensitive, client- centred and trauma-informed methodology. During daytime, I am a school social worker, collaborating with administrators and engaging
with students from JK to grade 12. My focus is on fostering a greater mental wellbeing among
students, drawing insights from my daily interactions with children and youth.
The knowledge and skills hones in this dynamic environment seamlessly integrate into my
therapeutic practices; contributing to the satisfaction and happiness of my clients.
